Pitch, Chip & Putt Qualifier sends 17 to July 19 finals

Seventeen young golfers – out of nearly 50 total – advanced out of the annual Pitch, Chip & Putt Qualifier presented by the Missouri Golf Association on Monday at the Betty Allison Family Golf Center. They know turn their attention to the finals on July 19 at Highland Springs Country Club.

Monday evening’s event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. Played at Oscar Blom Golf Course, the competition featured three shots each on the pitch, chip and putt competitions, with the highest scores advancing.

The winners of the July 19 event will be recognized on the 18th green following the conclusion of the PCCC’s Championship Sunday, set for July 25 at Highland Springs Country Club.
