A call for volunteers: Join our Volunteer Army!

Want to help nearly 50 Ozarks children’s charities and watch some great golf in the process?

A call for volunteers has been issued by the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, which will play July 22-25 at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield.

The PCCC’s Volunteer Army is generally 1,000 people strong annually, with numerous positions available: marshals, walking scorers, on-course services, hospitality and standard bearers and more.

Volunteers may register through one of the following:

  • pricecutterCC.org/volunteers.
  • The Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, 3861 E. Stan Musial Drive in Springfield
  • Contact Volunteer Chair Sharon Alexander at 417.884.3671 or at sharon@lsosm.org.

“The PGA Korn Ferry Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper could not function at an optimal level without the hundreds of volunteers who donate their time and energy to the cause,” Alexander said. “The list of responsibilities covered by the volunteers ranges from picking up players at the local airport to marshaling a hole to serving as a walking scorer to preparing food for the volunteers. The volunteers play a role in stabilizing the tournament structure.”
