Teams sponsored by Southern Bank, Pioneer Outdoors and Sterling Bank took home top honors in the SRC Pro-Am on Monday at Highland Springs Country Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, whose pros play Thursday through Sunday at Highland Springs Country Club.
Southern Bank fired a 55 behind Kim Bradley, Rob Wilson, Justin Cox, John Freeman and pro Nico Echavaria.
Pioneer Outdoors carded a 57 on the strength of Stuart Lipscomb, Adam Howey, Rob Clements and Jacob Basecke. Its pro was Wade Binfield.
Sterling Bank fired a 58 behind Jimmy Vernon, Steve Rhodes, Dieter Woolard and Scott Spencer. The team played with pro Carr Vernon, who has an unrestricted exemption into this weekend’s tournament.
