Backwoods Golf won top honors in the Bryan Properties Nighttime Golf Classic late Monday night at Fremont Hills Country Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, which is set for Thursday through Sunday at Highland Springs Country Club.
Backwoods Golf featured Austin Cloud, Koty Steward, Darin Garrout and Alex O’Brien as the team shot a 59.
The team of Rooney, McBride & Smith LLC took second with a 61, winning on a scorecard tiebreaker. The team featured Scott Smith, Brooke Smith, David Waugh and Britany Waugh.
Placing third was a team sponsored by Millwood Golf & Racquet Club. The team of Chad Harrison, Jason Sweet, Bill Buckley and Tony Hill fired a 61.
