Teams sponsored by Price Cutter Supermarkets/Acosta-and David Coutchie won the morning and afternoon rounds, respectively, in the Golfing for Justice Pro-Am on Monday at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
The morning round was won by a team consisting of Tim Kinser and pro Ken Evans, Garrison Pendergrass, Bill Fischer, Lance Fischer as the team fired a 55, winning on a scorecard tiebreaker.
Second place belonged to State Bank, which fired a 55 behind Tom Fowler, Rob Akers, Jeff Eiserman, Antonio Serrano and pro Dawie van der Walt.
Third place went to Cruise Marketing as Joey Pate, Mark McMichael, Charlie Lynn, Richard Pratt and Brandon Cauldwell fired a 55.
In the afternoon, Coutchie’s team fired a 53 thanks to King Block, Justin Peery, Steven Rosetta, Jimmy Phillips and pro Willie Hogan.
The Neal and Newman-sponsored team took second, with a 54, behind Kevin Dunaway, Brad Risby, Ryan Frazier, Judson Poppen and pro Kevin Kring.
Landau Pontoons took third, firing a 55 thanks to Wes Curry, Austin Curry, Andrew Smith, Chris Wall and pro Jin Park.
