A Heffernan Insurance-sponsored team won the Integrity Home Care Pro-Am on Saturday at LedgeStone Country Club and qualified for a national tournament in Kiawah Island, S.C.
The foursome of Clayton Treadway, Alex McKay, Hunter Gonce and Chris Percy teamed with pro Richard Johnson to fire a 54, besting the second- and third-place teams by one stroke.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. Among its 49 charities is a Springfield-based Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter, whose home office will invite the Integrity winner to the FCA National Scramble on Nov. 2-3 in South Carolina.
Taking second was the Central Bank/Central Trust team of Mark Walterskirchen, Tyler Phillips, Larry Smith, Bradley Long and pro Tyler Godfrey as the group fired a 55.
Placing third was the Spencer Fane-sponsored team of Mike Nichols, Adlai Groves, Steve Malone, Scott Bogard and pro Jordan McLaurin. It also fired a 55.
