All high school and middle school golfers now have an opportunity to play one more competitive event before the school year. The Betty and Bobby Allison’s Junior Pro-Am is set for Friday, August 5 at Rivercut Golf Course.
It’s $75 a player, or $300 for a four-person team. This is a scramble, plus the score of a professional golfer. Some pros lined up include former big-leaguer Jose Alvarez, former Web.com Tour player Scott Gump, and, from Golf Channel’s “The Big Break,” Jimmy Brandt and Oren Geri. Registration fees include participation in the event, a great golf gift package, breakfast and lunch and a picture with a professional golfer. Call 417-887-3400 to enter.
The event will have a division for boys and girls in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades, while a separate division is planned for high school golfers.
