HOLLISTER – Call it a photo finish.

The top three teams of the Silver Dollar City Pro-Am each carded a 49. However, the Schilling Sellmeyer foursome – along with pro John Kelly – won the event on a scorecard tiebreaker Tuesday at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course.

The winning foursome featured Matt Sellmeyer, Bruce Long, John Holiman and Ted Baker in the scramble format.

A Silver Dollar City team took second, featuring pro Ron Streck along with Steven Redford, Austin Herschend, Doug Meadows and Rick Todd.

Blue Line Rental took third place, featuring pro Richard Johnson, Aaron Eoff, Randy Bowing and Jon Williams.

The Silver Dollar City Pro-Am has been a longtime partner of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, the PGA Tour’s annual Web.com Tour stop and enormous fundraiser.

In its 25-year history, the tournament has generated almost $12 million for local children’s charities, including a record $1 million-plus last year alone.

The tournament is Thursday through Sunday at Highland Springs Country Club. Tickets can be purchased by calling 417-887-3400 or by stopping by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame, 3861 E. Stan Musial Drive.
