The inaugural Ozarks Junior Pitch, Chip & Putt Championship is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday at the Betty Allison’s at Oscar Blom Golf Course in north Springfield.
Presented by B&T Electric, Panda Trucking and Freedom Bank, the event is only $10 per player, with boys and girls divisions for those ages 6-8, 9-11 and 12-14. Contestants receive a visor, backpack, golf balls and three tees as well as four daily badges to the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper on July 26-29. The top three finishers in each division of the Pitch, Chip & Putt Championship advance to the finals, set for 6 p.m. Monday, July 23 at Highland Springs Country Club. The winners then will be introduced on the 18th green following play on the PCCC’s Championship Sunday on July 29 at Highland Springs.
