Mercy Kids is in his 14th years as a charity of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
The Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center is part of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.

For families whose children may be diagnosed with serious medical issues – such as leukemia, hemophilia or a brain tumor – the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center has been a calming influence. It’s allowed families to stay together here in the Ozarks, without having to travel hundreds of miles away.

The Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center is the nation’s sixth St. Jude-affiliated pediatric hematology/oncology clinic, serving children in Springfield and throughout southwest Missouri and northern Arkansas. Being a St. Jude affiliate site allows the center to enroll patients in St. Jude’s world-famous clinical research trials – right here at Mercy Children’s Hospital Springfield.

Through a collaboration with St. Jude-Memphis, no family is charged for their child’s treatment at the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center.

Those are among the many reasons why the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is proud to partner with the Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center again this year.

The tournament, part of the PGA Tour’s annual Web.com Tour stop in Springfield, has generated almost $12 million for children’s charities in its 25-year history. That includes a record $1 million-plus last year alone.

From humble beginnings to success: Jordan Valley Community Health Center

JordanValley-girl

There’s an old saying about what a difference a year makes. For the Jordan Valley Community Health Center, you can tweak that to say – what a difference a dozen years makes.

The center opened its doors 12 years ago after healthcare advocates in the Springfield community lobbied for years for such a center, which would provide medical services to those traditionally underserved. A year later, the center added dental services.

And now look. Once a small clinic on Division Street, the center is now an 110,000 square foot facility in downtown Springfield. It has a board of directors and administration team that has developed a comprehensive approach to providing health care. Medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services are available under one roof and convenience of patients.  Even better, additional locations can be found in Marshfield, Hollister, Republic and Forsyth.

In other words, the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is proud to partner again with Jordan Valley Community Health Center. And here is your chance to assist the center again through the PCCC, part of the PGA Tour’s annual Web.com Tour in Springfield.

The tournament has generated almost $12 million for children’s charities in its 25-year history, including a record $1 million-plus last year alone.
