A Hayden Machinery-sponsored team won the Price Cutter Pro-Am, outlasting nearly 60 other teams Wednesday at Highland Springs Country Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, which is Thursday through Sunday at Highland Springs.
Wednesday’s Pro-Am featured morning and afternoon rounds and the top money winners on the Web.com Tour. Hayden Machinery carded a 44 with pro Robby Shelton, Justin Hayden, Matt Kelley, Luke Brock and Eric Griffin.
Placing second was the Heart of America Beverage-sponsored team of David Bollenbach, Ryan Wheat, Stuart Murr, Alex Layton and pro Josh Teater.
Meanwhile, third place went to Price Cutter Supermarkets, which fired a 46 behind pro Jamie Arnold, Charlie Dunn, Royce Jackson, Nick Sheppard and Doug Davis.
