BRANSON – A team sponsored by Bar-S-Foods took top honors in the Cardinals Care Pro-Am on Thursday, besting 29 other teams in a fundraising event of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
Bar-S-Foods, which fired a 56, featured Springfield Cardinals pitcher Andrew Morales along with Scott Kelley, David Horsey, Jay Smith and Darren Petrus.
Second place belonged to Hiland Dairy, which featured prospect right-hander Sandy Alcantara along with Rob Ballowe, Nate Angus, Clint Gray and Adam Naegler. They fired a 57.
Placing third was Copy Products, Inc., which fired a 58 behind Cardinals prospect left-hander Austin Gomber along with Erik Crane, Greg McCord, Rob Kassing and David Liss.
