OZARK – A White River Valley Electric-sponsored team won the annual Bryan Properties Nighttime Golf Classic on Thursday night at Millwood Golf and Racquet Club.
The event, part of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, finished just before midnight as 18 teams played the back nine during dusk and then navigated the front nine under a full-lit moon.
Tiki torches and glow sticks lined the course, where Nathan Bruns, Robert Broadbent, Adam Harris and Justin Mayfield fired a winning score of 61 and won on a scorecard tiebreaker.
The team of Marc Kiser, Tim Blasi, Christie Blasi and Dawn Mihlfield placed second with a 61.
A Price Cutter-sponsored team of Rodney Rice, Scott Glover, Daniel Rice and Brian Rice placed third with a 61.
The Bryan Properties Nighttime Golf Classic was a makeup of an Aug. 5 rainout.
It is among the fundraisers for the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, with the Celebration of Sharing – in which the final amount to 44 children’s charities will be announced – is now set for Dec. 8 at Highland Springs Country Club.
