A team sponsored by Price Cutter Supermarkets took home top honors in the annual Cardinals Care Pro-Am on Monday at Buffalo Ridge Golf Course south of Branson.
Dean Massey, Mike Jinks and Kris Stiles fired a 57 and won on a three-way, scorecard tiebreaker on what became a picture-perfect day in the Ozarks.
Second place went to another Price Cutter Supermarkets team which consisted of Rodney Rice, Daniel Rice, Scott Glover and Brian Rice.
A Hiland Dairy team took home third-place honors. The team featured Rick Beaman, Terry Mitchell, Rob Ballowe and Jimmy Dennis.
The event marked the first pro-am of the 27th Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. The PCCC, which has gifted almost $13 million to Ozarks-area children’s charities in the past 26 years, begins in earnest the week of August 1.
