A team sponsored by Chad Smith won Division I of the Betty & Bobby Allison’s Junior Pro-Am on Friday at Rivercut Golf Course, as the field featured 20 teams of middle school and high school golfers.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
The Smith team featured Kyler Smith, Riley Mills, Alijah Hampton and Austin O’Hara along with pro Stephen Carney. The team shot a 124, winning on a scorecard tiebreaker.
The Division I runner-up was a team sponsored by the Bill & Payne Stewart Golf Course and featured Ty Cooper, Hadley Louderbaugh, Nathan Woodmansee and Gaven Peterie as it fired a 124 alongside pro Peter Kindstrom.
Winning Division II was Thessing Commercial Properties, which included Savannah Thessing, Bradley Thessing, Owen Buerke, Lyla Louderbaugh and pro Jose Alvarez. The team fired a 133.
Runner-up in Division I was the team of Josie Roberts, Brady Powers, A.J. Stevenson and Paige Bowman. The team fired a 134 on a day it was paired with pro Joel Thelen.
