Rob Ballowe of Hiland Dairy was the winner of THE ULTIMATE presented by Custom Metalcraft and Ridewell Suspensions during a Friday night dinner at the Tower Club.
Ballowe won out over 99 others in a fundraiser for the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, earning the 2015 sports car.
THE ULTIMATE sold out in early July as ticket-buyers donated $1,100, receiving a 1 in 100 chance of winning the car. The program also offered several other extras, including 10 $1,000 prizes.
This is the sixth consecutive year in which the program has sold out for the PCCC, the PGA Tour’s annual Web.com Tour stop. THE ULTIMATE began in 2008 in the beginning of the national economic downturn and has now grossed $950,000 – a huge boost to aid Ozarks-area children’s charities.
Each ticket-buyer receives a $50 gift certificate to an upscale restaurant; and seating in THE ULTIMATE air-conditioned skybox with snack food and drinks on the 18th green of Highland Springs Country Club, site of the PCCC this Thursday through Sunday.
Additionally, a ticket buyer in THE ULTIMATE is admitted to a reserved area of the clubhouse for breakfast and lunch; a Ultimate parking pass; autograph from the 2015 tournament champion; and his and her Ultimate golf shirts.
The additional winners were as follows: Dale and Diane Webb (Avanzare); Wil Reynolds (The Tower Club); John and Diana Piatchek (Macadoodles); Scott and Donna Whitaker (Bass Pro Shops); Al & Mertie Selbee (Chateau on the Lake); Dave Strader (Price Cutter); Jacquie Dowdy (Juanita K. Hammons); Marvin & Donna McDaniel (Maxons Jewelers); Heim & Young Associates (Northwest Arkansas); Robert Mahaffey (Highland Springs Country Club).
Tickets for the PCCC can be purchased by calling 417-887-3400, or by visiting the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame at 3861 E. Stan Musial Dr. in southeast Springfield.
