SPRINGFIELD – The SRC Pro-Am was neon on Monday. As in Missouri Neon.
The four-some, along with pro Nathan Tyler, fired a 54 to win the annual and competitive PRC Pro-Am at Highland Springs Country Club.
The group consisted of Anthony Collins, Joe Leek, Jeff Eiserman and Ryan Jones and beat the second-place team by one stroke while the third-place team finished two strokes back of the winners.
Second place belonged to OakStar Bank, which finished only one stroke back with a 55. The team, with pro Dawie Van Der Walt, featured Aaron Jernigan, William Duncan, Bob Palmer and Kory Bowman.
The Nova Scotia Open champion, Adam Svensson, was the pro of the third-place team, which featured David Coutchie, Randy Herion, Stuart Coutchie and Steve Coutchie.
The SRC Pro-Am is part of the build-up to the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, which is Thursday through Sunday at Highland Springs Country Club.
The tournament, the PGA Tour’s annual Web.com Tour stop, has raised almost $12 million for local children’s charities in its 25-year history, including a record $1 million last year alone.
