Mercy Pro-Am winners announced

Kevin Rash, Brian Chier, Dave Delahay and Sean Davott fired a 58 as the Steris Corporation-sponsored team won the Mercy Pro-Am on Monday at Hickory Hills Country Club.

The 21-team tournament, part of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, was rescheduled after rainy weather on Aug. 10 forced a postponement of the morning round.

A Zickel Flooring-sponsored team placed second. Kris Wheeler, Chris Burke, Clyde Simpson and Kelly Troup combined to fire a 63.

Earning third place was a Epic-sponsored team featuring Pat McGuire, Bob Sturgill and Gary Strange. The group fired a 64.

The tournament wrapped up the PCCC summer schedule, but one last announcement is still coming. The annual Celebration of Sharing, in which the PCCC’s overall total raised for 44 Ozarks children’s charities, is scheduled for Dec. 8 at Highland Springs Country Club.
