It’s “Go Blue for Autism Championship Sunday” as the future of the PGA Tour comes through Springfield. All golfers and fans are encouraged to wear blue as the tournament focuses on autism awareness, a day sponsored by the Arc of the Ozarks.

The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is set for Thursday, August 10 through Sunday, August 13 at Highland Springs Country Club.
Tee times for the pros will vary but generally they begin at 7 a.m.
Other notable events:
- 7 a.m. daily — An honor guard from either the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, Springfield Police Department, Army National Guard or Missouri Highway Patrol will march the U.S. flag to the first tee box.
- Bass Pro Fishing Contest after play every day Thursday through Saturday
- Down Syndrome Day at the PCCC — All day Saturday, August 12, the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks will be on site, so wear your yellow!
- Go Blue for Autism Championship Sunday — 7 a.m. Sunrise Service on the 18th green and, after play, winners of the TLC Properties Charity Sweepstakes (new truck and $10,000 prize) will be announced on the 18th green. Likewise, we’ll have a Volunteer Party in the Jackson Brothers of the South Ozarks Club Tent.
