Six local youths earned victories in their respective divisions Monday night in the third annual Pitch, Chip & Putt Championship presented by the Missouri Golf Association.
The event was part of the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper. Held at Horton Smith Golf Course, the finals featured the top three division winners from the qualifier on July 6.
Winners were Taylor Ebbrecht (Girls 6-8, 70 score), Max Albers (Boys 6-8, 150), Laylah Bates (Girls 9-11, 130), Clark Hubbard (Boys 9-11, 160), Delaney Daniels (Girls 12-14, 160) and Matthew Whitworth (Boys 12-14, 170).
By division, the breakdown was:
6 to 8 Age Division
Girls – Taylor Ebbrecht, 70; Anabella Meyer, 50; Boys – Max Albers, 150; Schen Fronce, 150
Age 9-11 Division
Girls – Laylah Bates, 130; Sarri Fronce, 100; Boys – Clark Hubbard, 160; Wyatt Retasket, 150; Landon Nichols, 140
Age 12-14 Division
Girls – Delaney Daniels, 160; Savannah Thessing, 130; Kaydence Yockey, 110; Boys – Matthew Whitworth, 170; Stewart McDonald, 150; Micah Baker, 110.
