Teams sponsored by USA Mortgage and Legal Services of Southern Missouri won their respective rounds in the Golfing for Justice Pro-Am on Monday at Millwood Golf & Racquet Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
USA Mortgage won the morning round by firing a 55 thanks to Steve Kitrel, Jason Sweet, Darrel White, Matt Soutee and pro Scott Gardiner.
A team of John Cyrus, Ryan Zeller, Scott Whitaker, Donna Whitaker and pro Brandon Cauldwell took second, firing a 55.
Third place in the morning round was a Glazer-sponsored team of Jesse Shalley, Mike Cyliax, Jason Moss, Emily Dickson and pro Wes Patterson. It fired a 57.
Meanwhile, the team of Todd Reed, Nate Dixon, Scott McKinney, Scott Clark and pro Steve Friesen won the afternoon round with a 55.
A Schilling Sellmeyer-sponsored team of Matt Sellmeyer, Kirk Elmquist, Brandon Bass, Jeff Jones and pro Brandon Pappas placed second with a 56.
A McCann Printing-sponsored team of Jeff Twitty, Karl Simmons, Jarrett Bland, Derek Reynolds and Matthew Vahala placed third with a 57.
