Imagine being a high schooler, middle schooler or in elementary school and being introduced on the 18th green of a PGA Web.com Tour event.
That’s what awaits six local youths after they won the inaugural Pitch, Chip & Putt Championship presented by B&T Electric, Panda Trucking and Freedom Bank on Monday night at Highland Springs Country Club.
Winning the 12-14 age division were Lyla Louderbaugh and Devun Salazar as they carded a 335 and 340, respectively.
Capturing top honors in the 9-11 age group were Hudson Feuerbacher (455) and Page Bowman (340).
The winners of the 6-8 age group were Lyla Bates (202) and Clark Hubbard (285).
Each of the winners will be introduced on Sunday on the 18th green following the end of play of the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.
