Little Xavier Wrinkle, all of 4 years old but with autism, was like a lot of kids his age. His curiosity would lead him to go all over the house, even opening cabinets and doors.
However, his family could not afford to pay for all the safety kits and door alarms – at least until Friends of Abilities First stepped in and reached out with a generous hand.
“Autism is an adventure,” said his mom, Evette, “but sometimes too much adventure can get you in a little trouble.”
Which is one of the many reasons why the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper is proud to partner with Friends of Abilities First, which financially assists families whose children have developmental disabilities. The golf tournament, among the PGA’s Web.com Tour stops, has generated almost $12 million in its 25-year history for Ozarks-area children’s charities – including a record $1 million-plus last year.

- FOR GOLF FANS, WIN PRIZES: The purchase of a $25 TLC Properties Charity Sweepstakes ticket serves as a four-day tournament pass, but it’s better than that. It enters you to win daily prizes during the tournament as well as grand prizes of $10,000 and a 2015 Ford Mustang.
- TICKET REVENUE GOES WHERE: Contact the local charity of your choice, simply because they receive revenue directly from those TLC Properties Charity Sweepstakes tickets marked with their names.
- BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPS: Businesses can support the PCCC through various sponsorships, such as the daily newsletter, website or through several events such as a dozen Pro-Ams. Additionally, restaurants, clothing stores and entertainment stops and such are asked to donate a gift card with at least a $25 value in the name of your charity of choice to benefit them in the Golf Ball Charity Auction.

About Friends of Abilities First
Friends of Abilities First is a non-profit that formed in 2010 to assist with the growing needs and expenses of people with developmental disabilities, that cannot be funded through state, county or other funds.
The organization also provides other resources as needed and requested by service/support coordinators. Advocacy, fundraising, volunteerism and public education are priorities for Friends of Abilities First, a 501 c (3).
When parents must take their child out of town for medical visit or need daily living expenses until their next funding arrives, in steps Friends of Abilities First.
