A Price Cutter Supermarkets team took top honors in the Price Cutter Pro-Am on Wednesday, besting a field of nearly 60 teams at Highland Springs Country Club.
The event was a fundraiser for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, whose play begins Thursday and runs through Sunday at Highland Springs.
Price Cutter carded a 46 and won on a scorecard tiebreaker. The team Royce Jackson, Pam Johnson, Justin Landolt and Brock Derrick along with pro Max Greyserman.
Runner-up was a Price Cutter team of Chad Lawson, Jasper Warren, Matt Collier and Mike Marhee, who is in Springfield as part of the Korn Ferry Tour’s Executive Director’s Initiative program.
The third-place team was Underwood Oil, which carded a 49 behind Troy Underwood, Tom Underwood, Dwane Tawney and Dewey Cooper.
