After all, the charity is out to remove barriers and empower independent living for all people with disabilities.
Which is why it’s a great fit for the PGA Korn Ferry Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper, which this year is benefitting nearly 50 Ozarks children’s charities.

PCCC funds have given empower: abilities the ability and flexibility to provide programs and services that meet the needs of its youth.
Additionally, PCCC funds will be used to help promote a new program this fall. It’s called empower: schools, a traveling program that will serve local elementary schools by providing disability simulations, processing and discussion, art projects, interaction with student athletes and books with Barney.
“PCCC funds allow us to fill the gaps in funding to ensure that our programs are engaging and relevant to the challenges youth with disabilities face in our community,” said Shannon Porter, CEO of empower: abilities.
