An additional $1,000 is headed to the 48 Ozarks children’s charities of the PGA Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper.

The tournament recently won The Truck Award from the Web.com Tour, which also gifted a large white cooler signed by all 2017 winners as well as Steph Curry, a standout for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors who played in the Ellie Mae Classic. The cooler will be on display at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

The news comes after the PCCC gifted $957,102 during the annual Celebration of Sharing presented by The McQueary Family.

The Truck Award goes to the tournament that best exemplifies the following qualities: Demonstrates exceptional operational commitment for its event; exhibits outstanding volunteer appreciation and supports; fosters a fun family atmosphere; charity-driven; understands the spirit of the “Great White” cooler and how it unifies relationships between players, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators during tournament week.
